MATH · FOR ALL CHILDREN

Understanding mathematics. Discovering connections.

Math is more than just numbers and formulas.

Why does a calculation work? How do you recognize patterns? And are there perhaps several ways to arrive at the correct solution?

In the math programs offered by the Claudia Grimm Academy, children discover mathematical concepts in an understandable and practical way.

Here, you’re welcome to ask questions, experiment, and even get your calculations wrong sometimes. After all, mistakes can help you better understand how things are connected.

REDISCOVER MATHEMATICS

It's not just about finding the right answer.

Mathematics is a part of our lives in many areas of our daily lives. Often, we don't even realize it.

Those who understand mathematical relationships, can structure problems, recognize patterns, and develop their own solutions.

That's why I want to show children not only how to do math, but also why things work the way they do.

🧠

Thinking Logically

Understand problems, recognize patterns, and discover connections.

🧩

Develop solutions

Trying out different approaches and understanding why a solution works.

💡

Becoming More Self-Reliant

Ask questions, develop your own ideas, and work through tasks step by step.

WHAT WE CAN DISCOVER

Math is everywhere.

Depending on the workshop or individual learning needs, we cover a variety of topics.

🔢

Numbers & Math

Understand calculation methods, experiment with numbers, and reinforce mathematical fundamentals. .

📐

Shapes & Geometry

Discover shapes, surfaces, and spatial relationships .

🧩

Logic & Puzzles

Recognize patterns, solve puzzles, and try out different ways of thinking. .

Mathematics becomes easier to understand, when we ask not only about the result, but also about the "why."

OUR MATH PROGRAMS

Discover together. Understand individually.

Not every child learns the same way. That's why there are different ways to discover math with the Academy.

👥

Open Math Workshops

Together, we explore a mathematical topic, try out different approaches, and learn from one another.

🌱

One-on-One Sessions

Personal support for questions, uncertainties, or specific math-related topics.

🚀

Hands-On Learning

Clear explanations, trying things out together, and room for your own solutions.

PARTICIPATION & PRICES

Understanding Math. Fair Prices.

Whether in a group workshop or one-on-one: Here you'll find the right math program for your child.

HOW WE LEARN

Step by step for a better understanding.

It is important to me that children not only learn mathematical concepts by heart, but also truly understand them.

01

Questions

What do we want to understand or find out?

02

Discover

We look at examples and begin to see the first connections.

03

Give it a try

Together, we'll test different approaches.

04

Understand

We discuss, why a solution works.

FOR PARENTS

When math suddenly becomes complicated.

Not every child understands an explanation right away. Sometimes they need a different approach, more time, or additional examples.

This is exactly where I want to start: explain things in a way that’s easy to understand, try things out together, and help children recognize how things are connected.

This isn't about putting extra pressure on students, but rather about helping them understand math better.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE ACADEMY

Hi, I'm Claudia.

I am a computer scientist, programmer, and founder of the Claudia Grimm Academy.

Over the course of my career, I have already worked with over 2,400 children and adolescents.

In 2022, I founded the Claudia Grimm Academy.

It is important to me that children have complex topics explained to them in a way they can understand and are allowed to discover their own solutions.

That's why, for me, math, logical thinking, and programming are closely related.

DISCOVER EVEN MORE

Interested in programming?

Logical thinking plays an important role in programming as well. .

In our coding workshops, children can create their own games, stories, and digital projects.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Who are these math programs intended for?

The math programs are designed for children who want to discover mathematical concepts or gain a better understanding of specific topics.

The exact age and eligibility requirements depend on the specific offer.

Are the math workshops for girls and boys?

Yes. Our math programs are open to both girls and boys equally.

How much does a math workshop cost?

What is the difference between a workshop and a one-on-one session?

In the workshop, several children work together on a specific math topic.

In a one-on-one session, the focus is on the individual questions and learning needs of each child.

Is this traditional tutoring?

The focus is on clear explanations, mathematical relationships, and independent problem-solving approaches.

In one-on-one sessions, we can also address specific questions related to the school curriculum.

Where can I find the dates?

Specific workshop dates and topics will be announced in the respective program listings.

Private sessions can be requested subject to availability .

Math can be understandable.
